Step-by-Step Window Installation Guide ：

                  1.Midea EasyCool 5,000 BTU Window AC：

           Pre-installation Note: This lightweight unit is designed for standard               double-hung windows. Make sure your window frame is secure and in             good condition before setup. Tools required: A Phillips screwdriver                   and a level.

  • STEP 1: Measure Your Window Opening Double-check that your window width falls between 23 inches and 36 inches, and has a clear vertical opening height of at least 13 inches. Clean the windowsill before proceeding. 

  • STEP 2: Assemble Top Rail & Side Accordion Panels Secure the top mounting rail onto the top of the AC casing using the 4 provided screws. Next, slide the left and right accordion panels firmly into the side tracks of the unit. 

  • STEP 3: Place the AC into the Window & Tilt Slightly Carefully lift the AC and place it centrally onto the windowsill. Lower the window sash tightly down behind the top rail of the unit. *Tip: Ensure the unit tilts slightly downward toward the outside (about 1/4 inch) so condensation drains outside properly, not inside your room.* 

  • STEP 4: Extend and Secure the Panels Extend the side accordion panels completely out until they flush against the window frame. Drive the provided wood screws through the panel frame holes into your window frame to lock everything secure. Install the window lock bracket for anti-theft security. 

  • STEP 5: Seal Gaps & Plug In Insert the included foam sealing strip between the upper and lower window glass to block outside humid air and insects. Plug into a standard 115V household outlet, turn the mechanical knob to "High Cool", and enjoy instant crisp air! 

2.Midea 6K/8K/10K/12K BTU U Shaped Smart Inverter：

Pre-installation Note: The Midea U-Shaped AC utilizes an exclusive quick-snap support bracket to ensure ultimate stability and safety. Please install the bracket first. Tools required: A Phillips screwdriver and a level.

  • STEP 1: Install the Exclusive Support Bracket Place the adjustable bracket into your window sill. Extend the support arms until they press firmly against the exterior wall. Use a level to ensure a slight tilt outward (for drainage) and lock the bracket pins securely. 

  • STEP 2: Slide the AC Unit onto the Bracket Carefully lift the AC unit and slide it along the track of the installed support bracket. The U-shaped slot should align perfectly with your window sash line. 

  • STEP 3: Lower Your Window Sash into the U-Slot Slowly lower your window sash straight down into the center slot of the U-shaped AC. This instantly isolates the heavy, noisy compressor outside and keeps the sleek controls inside. 

  • STEP 4: Secure Side Arms & Foam Sealing Extend the built-in side foam panels outward to seal the remaining window gaps. Use the provided anti-window-lift brackets to lock your window sash firmly into place, preventing any accidental opening or tampering from the outside. 

  • STEP 5: Power On & Smart Link Plug the unit into a standard 115V wall outlet. Download the MSmartHome App on your phone to connect the AC to your Wi-Fi, or link it with Alexa / Google Assistant for effortless voice control.
